Oven review Bought it 6 months ago to replace broken oven and very pleased with it. Very easy to use and beautiful to look at. Heats fast, cooks and bakes well and the broiling setting is perfect to achieve a bar-B-Q look and taste. Service Call review I noticed some drippings of kitchen floor a couple of times after using oven for long periods at a time and called for a service visit thinking there might be a problem with the door installation. Service response was very courteous and fast. Both US call and Canada answered promptly and were very nice. Appointment was scheduled for the same week and technician arrived on time. He took the time to check oven and remove door and found nothing wrong but realized that an excess of grease placed in the hinges during production was the issue. He cleaned some away and the rest will go away in time. No other issues, oven is working fine and I would definitely recommend it.

We've own the 27 in over for about 3 months. Overall we are seriously underwelmed. We own 2 KitchenAid refrigeratos and a number of small appliances that we like. It's hard to give this oven a good rating. These are the cons. 1. Heats too slowly even in convection mode. 2. Thermometer only goes to 200 degress which make is usless for bread making. 3. Proofer has only a 100 degree setting and cannot be adjusted. 4. Oven thermometer is in a place that make it hard to insert without burning youself. 4. Has too many places that collect dirt that are extremely difficult to clean both top and bottom of appliance. 5. Customer service very unprofessional when dealing with both question and deficiencies. pros 1. Once the oven is at the proper temporature, does an adequate job. 2. Does come with a propane converter. Normally, I would recommend Kitchenaid appliances, but in the case of the current generation of 27 and 30 in ovens. I would use Kitchenaid as a last resort.

Very impressed with this oven. The controls are easy to use and very clear. The oven is surprisingly large. Love the large window. Simple to use. Looks great. Touch screen is a great improvement over my old ovens circuit board. Finally an oven with a timer that starts when it reaches temperature instead of when it starts warming up. Built in electronic menu on the display makes it easy.

Needed a new range to replace my 46 year old range

after searching for a replacement that would fit my current insert that was a 46 year old Moffat Epicure range, I made sure that i would try to find something that would take the test of time and hopefully will give me the same type of service and reliability that I had. The Kitchen Aid not only did it fit perfectly into the existing space, and the hook up was simple and perfect as an upgrade, the unit has been performing extremely well. Love the fact that we now have a light that works so you can see in. Great product 4 months into it 40 years service requirement.

Good oven but requires long preheating time

PROS This oven has significantly more usable interior space than my previous oven which had the same exterior size. Having the bottom coil beneath the floor of the oven makes it much easier to wipe spills. The control pad is fairly intuitive to use and has good sensitivity. There is a lock for the control pad so that the oven will not be turned on accidentally. The oven temperature can be calibrated using the control pad. The audible signals are pleasant-sounding chimes. Timed baking and delay start work well and are easy to use. CONS The oven has an unacceptably long preheating time, a full 20 minutes, despite the fact that the preheat signal chimes after only 8 minutes. My husband determined this using a laboratory-grade thermocouple, and it was verified by a KitchenAid authorized service technician who also used a thermocouple. The technician explained that the preheat signal is based on time (8 minutes), not measured oven temperature. The same service technician determined that my oven was running 25 degrees low even after it fully preheated. While this is within factory specifications (which allows plus or minus 30 degrees) and is within adjustable range using the control pad, it means that as the unit ages, if I need to adjust the calibration higher than the 25 degrees it is already adjusted, I can only raise it another 5 degrees. BOTTOM LINE This is an attractive oven inside and out with some very nice features. However, I cannot say that I am completely satisfied with it because it takes so long to preheat (20 minutes) and so long to bake, typically taking longer than recipes designate, even though the temperature has been calibrated.

Dreamy baking!

This oven is not only beautiful inside and out, but it bakes like a dream! It has every bell and whistle available, a cobalt blue oven wall that is stunning, and it bakes so evenly and beautifully that it's amazing! I had four friends for a vacation at my house, and they sat in my kitchen watching me cook, because they loved seeing how well my new Kitchenaid appliances work!

This is a great little oven, its's 27 inches, easy to use, and the design is one of clean lines. It looks fabulous in my kitchen. I have only had it since mid July. I have baked in it and broiled in it and I find the heat even and I like the feature that when I open the door to remove the food for turning over, the oven doesn't lose heat. It did not come with a broiling pan, but I saved the one from my previous oven when I realized there was no broil pan included.

Only had this oven about two months and haven't cooked that much. I think it may need a bit of calibration as it seems to be hotter than the temperature selected. Will read the instruction manual and find out how to adjust it.

low quality oven

After second use blue enamel inside of the oven started flaking.

Very nice solid oven

Very even heat. Solidly built. No tinny feeling. Well lit blue interior. Controls intuitive, easy to understand. Lives up to expected KitchenAid standards. Wife loves it, which is THE most important thing!

Fantastic product

We bought this over a month ago and found it to be one of the best appliances that we have bought.Our old wall oven was 28 years of age and we needed a new one. This was perfect , the even heat , the ease of operating it and just everything about it was perfect. We are glad we purchased a Kitchen Aide product.
