We have had this refrigerator now for a couple of weeks and were still getting used to it. However there are several things that make it a great refrigerator. First and foremost it is roomy. Second it makes a lot of ice and we like that. Third it keeps everything in the fridge section good and cold. Only one small complaint so far I wish we could monitor the fridge and freezer inside temperature on the outside display.

I bought this refrigerator about 7 months ago. I wanted a French Door style refrigerator with a bottom drawer freezer in order to more easily see and access the contents compared to the side-by-side refrigerator/freezer it replaced. After owning the fridge for about 6 months it started making a loud buzzing noise. The fan that circulates cold air through the fridge was failing. An LG technician first mistakenly replaced the compressor motor before realizing that it wasnt the source of the noise and had to order the fan motor which delayed completion of the repair. Since the repair the refrigerator has worked well.

Now that the ice makert has finally been replaced a couple of weeks ago the fridge is working fine. The overall design of the LG fridge looks really good however the lmside door space is limited and having to remember to pull the shelves out from the bottom is something just to get use to. I like having a full size shelf inside as wellas having sa full size drawer.

We decided that the existing refrigerator in our new home didnt have the technology or storage space we wanted. The exterior water and ice delivery works great along with the modern look and additional features made our decision an easy one. Included three ice making alternatives door cubes door crushed and freezer dropped ice cube maker we never have to bring out the old ice trays. We were able to use the holiday July 4th discount offered including installation and hauling away the old unit for a very satisfying experience. We expect this unit to work well into the future

I called your support line and they offered no solution except what it says to do in the manual. That does not work.

We have had this for just over a year and have already had issues with frost in the freezer and the door seal has torn. Unfortunately it appears the LG quality has gone down hill. This is not the only LG appliance we purchase. Another item is defective.

LG was diligent about getting the repair done.

It took a while to sort out but ultimately LG addressed the problem responsively and fully. The freezer component of our 3-year old refrig/freezer started having issues with cooling in late July. LG was prompt in scheduling a same-week repair appt for Friday. When the repairman arrived he almost immediately explained that the nature of the problem would mean a second visit. We were going away for 2 weeks so had to postpone the repair until our return. When we got back I called LG and they scheduled another visit. When I discovered that the core problem was not fully addressed by the repair they were quick to order an additional part and schedule a visit just a couple of days later. The repairman was professional and thorough.

My LG refrigerator has been so amazing quiet running fabulous at making ice and the bottom freezer holds a lit of food We purchased it in June of 2020 and a couple of weeks ago I got an error code. Called. A local repair company they failed to repair it. Then I got smart called the LG customer service- they sent a wonderful knowledgeable repair man Ali Sabeeth to figure out what was wrong. He put n a heating coil and a new motherboard and now it runs like a charm again 5 star service for sure thanks to Ali.

We purchased in April 2022 brand new. This August 2023 the ice fan broke. LG customer service was less than helpful and that is very disappointing. We ended up hiring a local appliance repair company that ordered the part and replaced it without giving me the runaround like LG did. We dont expect this fridge to last long unfortunately. When it does break beyond it being worth paying to repair we will not replace with another LG.

Nice refrigerator plenty of room

For the most part I really like the refrigerator however we had to have the ice maker repaired shortly after we purchased as a part came loose and leaked water. That was repaired and so far no more problems with that. But we recently had to have the fan motor assembly replaced as the fan was failing. That has been repaired so far so good. other than that the refrigerator works well and I like the reminders to change the filters that this has.

Great fridge for two people

I love the LG refrigerator Its user friendly and easy to use. I like the fact it has a lower ice maker as well as the ice in the door. Ended up that the lower ice maker is the best choice for our needs. It was a selling point for me. Compressor failed multiple times

This fridge has a known compressor issue. LG replaced the compressor when it totally burned out. Since then the fridge has stopped cooling/ making ice. The fridge has been fixed and stopped working several times. I wanted to love it so badly because of all the amazing features. The reason for two stars is because while the fridge never worked well LG has decent customer service.

I bought this lg item 6 months ago and it works best so far except it gives me trouble when I replace the water filter.

Great features but fan broke

We initially loved this refrigerator we still do but keep reading for why its not a 5 star review. The size is great ice makers work well Lots of good space. We were dismayed however that the evaporator fan gave out less than a year after we moved into our new house. LG first denied us warranty service because our contractor bought the fridge in June we moved in in October but Abi from LG was great in getting us reimbursement for the fan which we bought and installed ourselves. Getting to that point was laborious LG chat reps initially couldnt give me a part number which was aggravating. However we lived through the experience and we have a functioning fridge again I will observe that LG has only one approved warranty service rep in our state and thats simply ridiculous. So good fridge inadequate service until Abi the Presidents rep got involved.

First time purchasing LG I hope it lasts

Refrigerator has a good layout and the water dispenser is a great design. This one allows you to see where the water comes out of the tube and is recessed slightly so you arent spilling water all over the floor. The ice maker in the door needs to be used frequently or the ice forms into a single block that must be broken up. But since we dont use ice that much I simply get the containers in the door and freezer filled up then turn off the ice makers. I love the second ice maker in the freezer since door makers are known for not lasting. We shall see how these hold up. The adjustable split shelves are super nice to accommodate those awkward sized items but not make your entire fridge length subject to the shelf adjustment. The door shelves behind the ice maker are big enough to store things other than small hot sauce bottles unlike other fridges we looked at so that is a nice feature. The air filter in the back has a cover on it that is crooked. We noticed that in the model at the store too so this is just poor design. It is also a pain to reach and take off. I wish the motor was a little quieter. When the fridge kicks on it makes this electrical hum noise and the filling of the ice makers is very loud as well. The ThinQ app seems rather purposeless. I guess if you have someone who abuses the fridge you can use it as evidence against them since the app records how many times the fridge has been opened. Overall the amount of space in the fridge and freezer is great for us front surfaces are easy to clean and I am hoping this lasts for many years to come. Fingers crossed.

Review of LFXS26973S. Works well. Ice makers are great. The bad-the front surface of the frig is reportedly stainless steel. It dents very easily. No matter how careful you are the front of the frig scratches despite following the manufacturers recommendations for cleaning. LG was contacted and will not do anything about it. Also the frig only connects to the 2.4 ghz. Difficult to connect and I have only been able to connect if I do not use the secure setting.

Thrilled with my new LG fridge. Shelves are wide even the doors. Drawers are also deep. Easy to see through glass makes it easy to see all your food. Freezer also spacious. Best of all... Water and ice in the door with filter. No longer have to buy bottled water. Oh dont forget the alarm if door is left open.

Thrilled with my new LG fridge. Shelves even in the door are wide and easy to see through. No more losing food pushed to the back. Freezer is also very spacious. Best of all is the built in water and ice. No more buying bottled water I even appreciate the door alarm reminding us to close the doors.

First purchasing the refrigerator online from our local Lowes store was quite easygoing being delivered within a few days by the two best delivery men we have ever experienced. The ease with water hookup and setup placement and ready for use was amazing. Simple rearrangement of a few shelves allowed for easy replacement of all our previous food needs and more. The dual ice makers and door access for water and cube and /or crushed ice make use so convenient. Ice production took only a few hours to begin dropping. The appliance looks great and shows no signs of fingerprints or smudge marks on the doors with the beautiful stainless finish. So far everything works fine Great purchase at a Great Price

Exactly 1 yr and 5 days after our refrigerator was installed it started to leak and stopped making ice. Since it was over a year the appliance store we purchased the refrigerator from wanted nothing to do with us. Dealing with LP to get a repair technician to our house was a minor nightmare. Eventually it was repaired seven weeks later. Its working now but for how long? I would never get an LP again no matter how good they are rated by Consumer Reports and others. On the plus side it is a nice looking refrigerator.
